2010 (Jr.): Appeared in nine games during the 2010 season... Made four tackles (three solo, one assist), making one each in games against San Diego State, BYU, Louisiana Tech and Nevada... Also had one fumble recovery.

2009 (RS): Redshirted first season at USU.

Junior College: Went to Scottsdale CC as a freshman, helping the Fighting Artichokes to a 5-5 record... Transferred to Santa Barbara CC for sophomore season, posting 31 tackles (18 solo, 13 assists) in seven games, helping the Vaqueros to a 3-7 record, but SBCC had to forfeit the wins, finishing with an 0-10 mark... Earned player of the game honors for logging game-high 13 stops in season-opener against Allan Hancock.

High School: Earned first-team all-state honors from both the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune... Also a first-team all-district 10 selection... Earned the Miners' Mr. Versatility Award after posting 52 tackles (36 solo, 16 assists) at safety and amassing over 1,000 yards all-purpose as running back, punt returner and kick returner... Totalled 11 TD's and a pair of two-point conversions, and also threw for another score... Had 484 yards rushing on 52 carries (9.3 ypc) with five TD's... Added eight receptions for 104 yards (13.0 ypc) with one TD... Also had seven punt returns for 115 yards (16.4 ypr) and 10 kick returns for 296 yards (29.6 ypr) with a 94-yard TD... Added one TD on a 50-yard INT return... Also had half a sack, five pass break-ups, one INT, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a blocked punt... Helped PCHS to an undefeated regular-season, including beating third-ranked Logan, 36-35 in OT, topping current USU teammates Josh Flores, Tanner Richins and Josh Thompson... Finished 14-1 after losing in the first-round of the 3A playoffs... Also a letterwinner on the PCHS lacrosse team as a defender.

Personal: Born April 5, 1989 in Salt Lake City... Son of Todd and Wendy Vought... Has two brothers... Majoring in interdisciplinary studies with future plans to work in hotel/tourism management... Chose USU because it is close to home along with the community and campus environment.
