UTAH STATE: Has a big body and is a good pass blocker... Possesses a great understanding of the offense... A hard-working player that plays with great toughness.
2013 (JR): Appeared in the final six games of the season after recovering from injury... Most of his playing time was on special teams, but also played 35 snaps on the offensive line, grading out at 79 percent.
2012 (SO): Played in five games and graded out at 80 percent in 29 snaps during the season... Did not have a single missed assignment on the year... Recorded three knockdowns, including a season-high two against New Mexico State (10/20)... Graded out at 100 percent in assignment, technique and effort against NMSU... Played a season-high eight snaps against both UTSA (10/27) and Texas State (11/3)... Also had a knockdown against the Roadrunners... Did not allow a sack during the season.
2011 (RS-FR): Did not see any action after suffering an injury in the spring.
2010 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.
HIGH SCHOOL: A Utah Class 5A first-team all-state selection at Pleasant Grove (Utah) High School, helping the Vikings to an 8-3 record, advancing to the state quarterfinals... Helped pave the way for an offense that tallied 1,763 passing yards (160.3 ypg) and 1,410 rushing yards (128.2 ypg) with 35 total touchdowns... Also helped the Vikings end Timpview's state record 36-game win streak... Led Pleasant Grove HS to a 10-2 record his junior season, winning the Region 4 title before getting upset in the quarterfinals of the 5A playoffs... Also played basketball.
PERSONAL: Son of April Walker and Mark and Eryn Walker... Graduated from USU in the spring of 2014 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies and is currently working on a second bachelor's degree.
