Utah State Football Starts Fall Camp Friday, Aug. 5

Fourth-year head coach Matt Wells welcomes back 12 starters (O-9, D-3) and 38 letterwinners (O-20, D-15, S-3) from last year's team that finished tied for second in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West with a 5-3 record, and played in its school-record fifth-straight bowl game.

HONORS: Academic All-Mountain West (2015, 2016).

CAREER RECORDS: Was 17-of-24 in his career on field goals and that percentage of .708 ranks fifth all-time in school history… Was 79-of-84 all-time on extra points and that percentage of .940 ranks ninth all-time in school history… Ranks sixth all-time in school history in both extra points made (79) and attempted (84) in a career.

SINGLE-SEASON RECORDS: Was 39-of-41 on extra points in 2015 to rank tied fifth in school history for a single season in extra points made and fifth for extra point attempts... Was 9-of-12 on field goal attempts as a senior in 2016 and that percentage of .750 ranks tied for 10th all-time in school history

2016 (SR): Played in all 12 games and finished the season leading the team with 62 points scored as he was 35-of-36 on extra points and 9-of-12 on field goals… Ranked eighth in the Mountain West and 55th in the nation in field goal percentage (.750), and 10th in the conference and 98th in the nation in field goals per game (0.75)… His field goal percentage (.750) ranks tied for 10th all-time in school history for a single season, while his 35 extra points made ranks tied for ninth… Scored a season-high 10 points against Arkansas State (9/16) as he was 4-for-4 on extra points and 2-of-2 on field goal attempts (38, 30)… Scored eight points against Air Force (9/24) as he was 2-for-2 on extra points and 2-of-2 on field goal attempts (23, 23)… Made a career-long 43-yard field goal against Fresno State (10/22) and was 5-for-5 on extra points against the Bulldogs, scoring eight points… Also kicked off one time for 40 yards at USC (9/10)... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.

2015 (JR): Played in all 13 games and finished the season leading the team with 63 points scored as he was 39-of-41 on extra points and 8-of-11 on field goals... His 39 extra points made ranks tied for fifth on the USU single-season lists, while his 41 attempts ranks fifth... Finished the season ranking seventh in the Mountain West in extra point percentage (.951) and eighth in field goals made per game (0.62)... Also kicked off four times for 225 yards (56.2 ypk) with one touchback at New Mexico (11/7)... Scored a career-high 12 points against Colorado State (10/3) as he was 3-of-3 on field goal attempts (23, 40, 34) and 3-of-3 on extra points... Added 10 points against Wyoming (10/30) as he was 7-of-8 on extra points and 1-of-1 on field goals (22)... Was 2-of-3 on field goal attempts at New Mexico, including a career-long 41-yarder... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.

2014 (RS-SO): Did not see any action.

2013 (RS): Redshirted during the season.

2012 (FR): Played in two games before suffering season-ending injury and receiving a medical redshirt... Was 4-of-4 on extra points against Southern Utah (8/30) and 1-of-2 on extra points against Utah (9/7)... Missed a 45-yard field goal against the Utes in his only attempt of the season... Kicked off six times for 385 yards (64.2 ypk) with one touchback... Also had two special teams tackles.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played football and soccer at Sky View (Utah) High School... Scored 79 points during his senior season in 2009 (6.3 ppg) as he was 58-of-61 (.951) on extra points and 7-for-9 (.778) on field goals, which were the second-most made in the state that year... Also kicked off 55 times during the year for 2,694 yards (48.98 ypk).

PERSONAL: One of two sons of Patrick and Mary Lee Warren... Cousin, Dane Kidman, was also a kicker for Utah State... Married Megan Jensen in April, 2015... Graduated from Utah State in the fall of 2015 with a sociology degree and minor in criminal justice.
