2014 (SO): Played in all 14 games, making eight starts... Finished the year with 19 receptions for 178 yards (9.4 ypc) with two touchdowns... Had a career-high four receptions against both Wake Forest (9/13) and at Boise State (11/29)... Added three receptions for a career-best 54 yards against New Mexico (11/15)... Had a 5-yard touchdown reception against Wake Forest and a 10-yard touchdown reception against New Mexico... Recorded at least one reception in nine games during the season... Finished the year fifth on the team in both receptions (19) and receiving yards (178), and was tied for third with his two receiving touchdowns... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
2013 (FR): Played the final seven games of the season and made three starts... Finished the year with seven receptions for 118 yards (16.9 ypr) with two touchdowns... Had a 44-yard touchdown reception against Hawai'i (11/2) and a 6-yard touchdown reception against Wyoming (11/30)... Had a season-high two receptions for 26 yards against Colorado State (11/23)... Also had one reception for 23 yards at New Mexico (10/19), one reception for eight yards at UNLV (11/9) and one reception for 11 yards against No. 24 Northern Illinois in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Oregon Class 3A second-team all-state honors as a prep senior at Horizon Christian High School in Tualatin, Ore., as he accounted for 41 total touchdowns, passed for nearly 2,500 yards and rushed for 900 yards... Earned first-team all-state honors during his junior season as he was 154-of-265 (.581) passing for 2,054 yards (13. ypc) with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions... Also rushed for 692 yards on 163 carries (4.2 ypc) with five touchdowns as a junior... Was also an all-state basketball player during his sophomore and junior seasons... Was a member of the National Honor Society and leader for Fellowship of Christian Athletes... Named Horizon Christian HS Spanish Student of the Year as a freshman... Is the first athlete from his high school to sign a Division I scholarship in any sport.
PERSONAL: One of three children of Bill and Susie Houston... Father played tight end at Air Force... Great uncle, David Sawyer, played basketball at Pittsburgh... Grandfather played minor league baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates... Majoring in sociology.
