HONORS: Academic All-Mountain West (2015, 2016).

UTAH STATE: A very reliable wide receiver that runs great routes... A smart player with great hands who understands the game.

2016 (SO): Played in all 12 games, making seven starts… Finished the season with eight receptions for 70 yards (8.8 ypr)… Caught two passes for 28 yards in the season-opener against Weber State (9/1), including a career-long reception of 17 yards… Added two catches for 13 yards against Air Force (9/24) and two catches for 16 yards at Nevada (11/19)… Also had one reception for seven yards at BYU (11/26) and one reception for six yards against New Mexico (11/12).

2015 (RS-FR): Played in 11 games, making three starts... Finished the season with six catches for 61 yards (10.2 ypr) and one touchdown... Had a season-high four receptions for a season-best 31 yards at Utah (9/11)... Lone touchdown reception on the season was also against the Utes for 15 yards... Had one reception for 14 yards at Washington (9/19) and one catch for a season-long 16 yards against Wyoming (10/30)... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.

2014 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: A Utah Class 4A first-team all-state selection at wide receiver by the Salt Lake Tribune and a second-team all-state selection by the Deseret News following his senior season in 2010 as he had 31 receptions for 561 yards (18.1 ypr) with four touchdowns for Timpview High School in Provo, Utah... Was also named first-team all-valley and to the Elite Eleven team by the Daily Herald... Finished his prep career with 91 catches for 1,536 yards (16.9 ypr) with 11 touchdowns as he helped the Thunderbirds to the 4A state championship in 2008 and 2009.

PERSONAL: One of six children of Kent and Judi Van Leeuwen... Served an LDS Church Mission in Paraguay from 2011-13... Brother, Travis, was a four-year letterwinner at wide receiver on Utah State’s football team (2010-13)... Married London Wettstein in May, 2016... Graduated from USU in the summer of 2017 with a degree in family, consumer and human development and is working on a second bachelor’s degree in sociology... Last name is pronounced Van-Loo-win.
