UTAH STATE FOOTBALL POST-GAME NOTES
vs. Idaho (11/24/12)

TEAM NOTES
• USU is now 10-2 on the season and set the single season school record for wins, bettering the 1960 (9-2-0) and 1961 (9-1-1) teams that both won nine games.
• USU won its first outright league championship since 1936 and just its third in school history joining the 1921 and 1936 teams that won Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors. Overall, it is USU's 11th conference championship in school history joining the 1921, 1936, 1946, 1960, 1961, 1978, 1979, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 2012.
• With its win, Utah State went 6-0 in WAC play tying the 1936 USU team (6-0-1 RMAC) for the most conference wins in a single-season in school history. Also, this is the first time in school history that a USU team has gone 6-0 in league play.
• USU improved to 6-0 at home this year marking just its fourth undefeated home season in the 45-year history of the facility joining the 1968 (4-0), 1972 (5-0) and 1982 (4-0) teams. Overall, USU's six home wins this year is a single season school record bettering the 1931, 1935 and 1972 Aggie teams that all won five home games.
• USU has now won eighth-straight home games and improved to 16-7 at home under head coach Gary Andersen including an 8-6 WAC mark. Overall, USU's current eight-game home winning streak is its longest since the 1966-68 teams also won eight-straight home games, which ranks tied for the seventh longest home winning streak in USU history.
• USU has now won six-straight games overall, which is its longest winning streak since 1961 and tied for the fifth-longest winning streak in school history.
• USU is now 15-3 in its last 18 games for its best 18-game stretch since the 1962-64 teams also won 15 of 18 games.
• With its 45 points today, Utah State has now scored at least 38 points in each of its last six games, extending its current school record.
• USU improved to 3-1 all-time as an AP ranked team.
• USU has now won 11 straight WAC games to extend its school record.
• USU's senior class won its 25th game during its four-year career which ranks tied for second all-time in school history along with the 1963 team. The school record for wins by a senior class is 26 set by the 1962 team.
• USU has now led at the half in 11 of its 12 games this year (trailed 6-3 at BYU) and has a 244-54 scoring advantage in the first half this year. In its last five games, USU has allowed 12 first half points with two field goals by Idaho and single field goals by UTSA and Louisiana Tech. Overall, USU has not trailed at any point in its last five games.
• USU did not score a touchdown on its opening series of the game for the first time in six games dating back to the BYU game (Oct. 5).
• USU's three interceptions are its most in a single game since intercepting three passes at Idaho in 2007. USU has now intercepted a pass in five straight games and has had multiple interceptions in three games this year (UTSA, LTU, UI).
• USU now has a 131-6 scoring advantage in the first quarter this season allowing a pair of field goals to San Jose State and UTSA. Overall, Idaho is the 10th opponent this year not to score in the first quarter against USU. Furthermore, USU is the only team in the nation to not allow a first quarter TD this season.
• USU has now scored first in 11 of its 12 games this year and San Jose State (FG) is the only team to score first against USU this season.
• USU had four scoring drives of five or fewer plays today and now has had 32 scoring drives of five or less plays on the season.
• USU did not allow a TD for the second time this year (SUU) marking the first time since 1994 when that Aggie team had two games were it did not allow a TD.
• USU had a season-low 117 passing yards, while its 250 yards of total offense was its second-fewest this year (243 at BYU.
• USU allowed 52 passing yards, which is a season-low and the fewest since North Texas had 45 passing yards in 1998. The 210 total yards allowed by USU are its third-fewest this year.
• Utah State has now won seven-straight games in November and is 11-3 in November under Andersen.

PLAYER NOTES
• Senior LB Bojay Filimoeatu recorded his first career interception in the first quarter and returned it 48 yards. Filimoeatu also record 0.5 sacks to give him 4.0 sacks on the year and 7.0 sacks in his career.
• Junior DL B.J. Larsen recorded his first career interception in the first quarter and returned it four yards. Larsen also recorded his third sack of the season and his career in the third quarter.
• Sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton extended his single-season school record with two TD passes to give him 26 this season and 38 TD passes in his career, which ranks fourth all-time in school history.
• Sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton has now thrown multiple TD passes in 10 games this year and 13 games in his career.
• Sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton recorded his seventh rushing TD of the season and 11th of his career in the first quarter.
• Sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton threw for 133 yards and now has 3,144 passing yards this year to rank fourth all-time at USU for a single-season and is now 125 passing yards shy of breaking the single season school record of 3,268 passing yards set by Jose Fuentes in 2002.
• Sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton was 17-of-25 passing and has now completed 254 passes this year to rank second all-time at USU for a single season behind the school record 260 completions by Jose Fuentes in 2001. Keeton also now ranks ninth all-time at USU for a single-season with 376 pass attempts.
• Senior RB Kerwynn Williams recorded his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season and the sixth of his career with 110 yards. This season, Williams now has 1,277 rushing yards to rank 10th all-time at USU for a single-season. For his career, Williams now has 2,280 rushing yards to rank eighth all-time in school history.
• Senior RB Kerwynn Williams caught his fifth TD pass of the season and his career in the first quarter and rushed for his 12 touchdown this season to give him 17 TDs this year to rank him third all-time at USU for a single-season. For his career, Williams now has 25 total TDs (19-rushing, 5-receiving, 1-kick return) to rank ninth all-time in school history. Furthermore, Williams' 19 career rushing TDs rank eighth all-time at USU.
• Senior RB Kerwynn Williams had four catches for 39 yards and now has 43 receptions for 663 yards, which breaks the school record for receiving yards by a running back in a single season which was previously held by Jerry Hughes who had 639 receiving yards in 1972.
• Senior CB Will Davis recorded an interception for the fifth-straight game in the second quarter and returned it 59 yards for his first career TD. For USU, it is the first INT returned for TD since Devon Hall returned an INT 38 yards for a TD against Wyoming in 2007. Davis is the first Aggie to intercept a pass in five-straight games since Robert Fuhriman accomplished the feat in 1973. Furthermore, Davis' five INTs in 2012 are the most by an Aggie in a single season since Terrence Washington also had five INTs in 2003.
• Senior DL Al Lapuaho forced his first fumble of the season and the second of his career in the third quarter.
• Senior TE Kellen Bartlett recorded his fifth TD reception of the season and his career in the third quarter.
• Junior DL Connor Williams forced his first career fumble in the fourth quarter.
• Junior DB Nevin Lawson recovered his first career fumble in the fourth quarter.
• Redshirt freshman DL Jordan Nielsen recorded 0.5 sacks in the game to give him 5.0 sacks on the season.
• Sophomore RB Joe Hill recorded his sixth rushing TD of the season and his career.
• Junior LB Jake Doughty had 12 tackles in the game for his fourth double-figure tackle outing this year.
• Redshirt freshman LB Kyler Fackrell tied his career-high with 11 tackles for his fourth double-figure tackle outing of this career. Fackrell also had 0.5 sacks to give him 3.0 on the season.
• Junior LB Zach Vigil had 0.5 sacks in the game to give him 5.5 sacks on the season and in his career.
• Junior S Cameron Sanders tied his career-high with six tackles.
• Senior P Tyler Bennett had three punts downed inside the 20, giving him 28 on the season on 57 kicks.
