Utah State finishes the year with an 11-2 record, which is the best record in school history. Its previous single-season high for wins was nine in 1960 and 1961.
Utah State is now 2-6 all-time in bowl games as it also won the 1993 Las Vegas Bowl II with a 42-33 win against Ball State.
Utah State has now won 16 of its last 19 games for its best 19-game stretch since going 18-2-1 during the 1960 and 1961 seasons.
Utah State's senior class won its 26th game tonight, tying the 1962 senior class for most wins in school history.
Utah State improved to 2-0 this year and 4-1 all-time when ranked in the AP poll. USU will also finish the 2012 season ranked in the AP poll for the first time since finishing the 1961 season 10th.
Utah State finished the 2012 season scoring 38 or more points in each of its last seven games, extending its own school record.
Utah State had three 2-play scoring drives in the game giving them nine 2-play scoring drives this year. USU also had one 3-play scoring drive in the game for 10 3-play scoring drives this year. On the season, USU had 37 scoring drives of five plays or less.
Utah State's 28 fourth-quarter points are its most in a single quarter since scoring 28 second quarter points against Wyoming in 2011. Those 28 fourth quarter points are also the most scored in the fourth quarter in the history of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and tied for the most in any quarter in Potato Bowl history.
Utah State's 353 rushing yards are a season-high and the 19th-most in a single-game in school history.
Utah State's 582 yards of total offense are its third-most this year and the 14th-most in a single-game in school history.
Utah State finished the 2012 season producing 500-plus yards of total offense seven times, including five times in its last six games.
Utah State set a single-season school record with 285 completions in 2012, breaking the previous mark of 270 completions set in 2001.
Utah State improved to 8-2 all-time against current Mid-American Conference schools.
Toledo's first quarter field goal marks the second time this year that Utah State has not scored first, allowing field goals to San Jose State and Toledo. Furthermore, USU has only trailed against four teams this year: at Wisconsin, at BYU, at San Jose State and vs. Toledo.
Utah State had not trailed in its previous five games before trailing against Toledo, 3-0, in the first quarter.
Utah State did not allow a first quarter TD this year and outscored its opponents 138-9 in the first quarter this year, allowing FGs to San Jose State, UTSA and Toledo. USU and Notre Dame are the only team FBS teams in the nation to not allow a first quarter TD this year.
Utah State ends the season with a 254-60 scoring advantage in the first half. Overall, USU has led at the half in every game but one this year (trailed 6-3 at BYU). On the season, USU is 11-0 when leading at the half.
Utah State has intercepted a pass in six straight games and in eight of their last nine overall. Overall, USU has now had seven interceptions in its last three games.
Senior RB Kerwynn Williams rushed for a career-high 235 yards on 18 carries. Those 235 yards are the second-most in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl history and 11th-most in a single-game in school history.

Senior RB Kerwynn Williams recorded three rushing TDs in the game to give him 15 rushing TDs this year to rank tied for third all-time at USU for a single-season with Abu Wilson (1995) and Rick Parros (1979). For his career, Williams now has 22 rushing TDs to rank seventh all-time in school history.
Senior RB Kerwynn Williams had two runs of 50-plus yards giving him eight on the season. In fact, eight of his last 10 explosive runs have been over 50 yards.
Senior RB Kerwynn Williams ends his USU career with 28 total TDs to rank tied for seventh all-time in school history along with Kendal Smith (1985-88), while his 20 total TDs in 2012 are the second-most in school history in a single-season behind Robert Turbin's school record of 23 total TDs in 2011.
Senior RB Kerwynn Williams ended his career with four straight 100-yard rushing games with his 235 yards today, which are the most by a USU player since Robert Turbin had five-straight 100-yard rushing games in 2011. Overall, it was Williams' seventh 100-yard rushing game of the season and the eighth of his career.
Senior RB Kerwynn Williams ends his career with 2,515 rushing yards to rank seventh all-time in school history. In 2012, he rushed for 1,512 yards to rank fourth all-time at USU for a single-season and just 24 yards shy of the record of 1,536 yards set by Demario Brown in 1999.
Senior RB Kerwynn Williams finishes the year with 120 points scored to rank second all-time at USU for a single-season behind Robert Turbin's record of 138 points set last year.
With his 269 all-purpose yards, senior RB Kerwynn Williams now has 6,928 all-purpose yards in his career, passing New Mexico's Terance Mathis (6,691) for the most in the history of the WAC. Overall, Williams now ranks 11th in FBS history in all-purpose yards.
Sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton recorded his eighth rushing TD of the season and 12th of his career in the first quarter. Keeton also passed for 229 yards marking the 10th time this year and 13th time in his career that he has passed for at least 200 yards.
Sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton was 21-of-31 passing and has now set the single-season school record for completions with 275, breaking the old mark of 260 set by Jose Fuentes in 2001. Keeton also set the single-season school record for passing yards as he now has 3,373 yards, breaking the previous record of 3,268 passing yards set by Fuentes in 2002. Keeton also attempted 407 passes in 2012 to rank seventh all-time at USU for a single-season.
Senior LB Bojay Filimoeatu recorded his fifth sack of the season and eighth of his career in the first quarter. He also posted his second career double-digit tackle outing with 11 stops.
Sophomore RB Joe Hill recorded his seventh rushing TD of the season.
Junior DT B.J. Larsen recorded his fourth sack of the season and his career in the second quarter.
Redshirt freshman LB Kyler Fackrell recorded his third interception of the season.
Sophomore SS Brian Suite intercepted his first career pass in the fourth quarter.
Junior DT Connor Williams recorded his sixth sack of the season and eighth of his career.
Senior P Tyler Bennett now has 33 punts downed inside the 20 this year, with his four today. Bennett also had a long of 51 yards today for his 11th 50-yard punt of the season.
Redshirt sophomore PK Nick Diaz was 2-of-2 on FGs, tying his career-high.
