LOGAN, Utah - In its final practice leading up to its annual spring game, Utah State football is moving its Wednesday morning practice to the afternoon. The team will now workout from 2-3:30 p.m. on Merlin Olsen Field at Romney Stadium. All USU spring football practices are open to the public.
In its 14th practice of the spring on Wednesday, USU players will be in helmets, jerseys and shorts.
Also on Wednesday, The Zone Sports Network (1280 AM and 97.5 FM) will broadcast live from Romney Stadium from 1-3 p.m. During the show, first-year head coach Matt Wells, junior quarterback Chuckie Keeton and sophomore linebacker Kyler Fackrell will join Scott Garrard and Riley Jensen live to talk Aggie Football.
Utah State will conclude spring drills on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. with its annual Blue vs. White Spring Game, presented by Orbit Irrigation Products. Admission to the spring game is free.
On Saturday, the USU Campus Store will have Aggie apparel available at the `Bull Pen' located on the south concourse. Concessions will also be available on the south concourse. Following the scrimmage, fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from the Aggie football team and a limited number of USU spring football posters will be available.
The South Ticket Office at Romney Stadium will open at 12 p.m. for Aggie football season ticket renewals as well as taking new orders. Fans can also renew online 24 hours a day at www.UtahStateAggies.com.
The fourth-annual HURD Bowl will also take place on Saturday, prior to USU's spring game, beginning at 10 a.m. with four games.
Fans who purchase or renew their season tickets by April 20 will be able to purchase two additional single-game tickets to this year's home game against BYU on Oct. 4. This game will most likely be a sellout and this offer may be the only chance to purchase additional single-game tickets for that contest.
