LOGAN, Utah -

Utah State’s 13th annual Aggie Football Family Fun Day, presented by Maceys, will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.

The day will begin at 11 a.m. with the final stop of the 2018 Aggie Road Trip featuring a special State of the Aggies event held in the West Stadium Center Champions Club. During the event, Utah State Vice President and Director of Athletics John Hartwell, head football coach Matt Wells and head men’s basketball coach Craig Smith will provide an update on USU Athletics and the football and men’s basketball programs. The event is free and open to the public.

Games and activities will get started on the south concourse at 1 p.m., while Utah State’s football team will hold a situational scrimmage at 2 p.m. There will be free food, inflatable activities, face painting, balloon animals and giveaways courtesy of athletic sponsors. Locker 42 will also be selling Aggie merchandise on the south concourse.

Both the south and west gates of Maverik Stadium will be open. All seating is general admission. The south ticket office at Maverik Stadium will open at 1 p.m. for season-ticket purchases, as well as mini-plans and single-game tickets.

Fans can also pick up their Junior Aggie Kids Club packages or sign up to be a member at the table on the south concourse. Junior Aggie Kids Club packages start at $20 and are open to kids entering the eighth grade and younger. Fans can take advantage of the special early-bird discount pricing of $15 if they sign up prior to Aug. 1. Sign up online at utahstateaggies.com/junioraggies.

Following the scrimmage, fans can get autographs from their favorite Aggies and participate in on-field activities. A new addition to this year’s event is a special post-scrimmage concert featuring local country and rock band, Mile Marker 6. There is no cost to attend the event and everyone is welcome onto the field after the scrimmage.
