LOGAN, Utah - With the Utah State football season just around the corner, the Utah State Big Blue Scholarship Fund will begin hosting its weekly coaches luncheon beginning Monday, August 28.
The kickoff luncheon will take place at Romney Stadium beginning at noon on the 28th. The event will be held inside the stadium on the southwest corner. The luncheons are open to everyone.
Cost of the lunch is $12 or a season ticket can be purchased for $140 and will include a hat and five raffle tickets. The weekly luncheons feature head coach Brent Guy and two Aggie football players as they review previous games and preview the upcoming contest each week.
After the season-opening luncheon at Romney Stadium, the weekly event will be held at the Copper Mill Restaurant at 55 North Main in Logan each Monday at noon, with one exception. Due to Labor Day, the luncheon that week will be held on Tuesday.
The Big Blue Scholarship Fund will also hold monthly luncheons in Salt Lake City beginning on Thursday, Aug. 24. The first of the four Salt Lake luncheons will be held at Iggy's Sports Grill at 677 South, 200 West. Iggy's will then be at a new location at 423 West, 300 South for the remainder of those luncheons.
Cost of the Salt Lake events is $12 per luncheon or $50 for a season ticket, which includes a hat and five raffle tickets. The luncheons are open to all who would like to attend.
