LOGAN, Utah - With fall camp in its final week, Utah State football is just 10 days away from the start of the 2012 season as it hosts Southern Utah on Merlin Olsen Field inside Romney Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m.

During the next week, UtahStateAggies.com will be taking a daily look inside Utah State Football, interviewing Aggie players and coaches about last season's run to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and the upcoming season, its last in the Western Athletic Conference.

Today's video interview is with senior running back Kerwynn Williams.

Williams (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley HS) rushed for 542 yards in 2011 on 81 carries (6.7 ypc), which was No. 3 on USU's single-season rushing average list. He added three rushing touchdowns as a junior. Williams also had seven receptions for 63 yards and 36 kick returns for 817 yards (22.7 ypr) in 2011, which ranked fifth in the WAC and 73rd in FBS. He also had seven punt returns for 98 yards (14.0 ypr), which would have ranked second in WAC, but did not meet the minimum requirement. Overall, Williams totaled 1,520 all-purpose yards on the season, for an average of 121.5 yards per game, ranking eighth in the WAC and 58th in nation.
