Sept. 30, 2010
LOGAN, Utah - Fans have several options for pre-game entertainment with all the festivities surrounding Friday night's Utah State-Brigham Young football game. Kickoff for the Beehive State battle between the Aggies and Cougars is slated for 6 p.m. at Merlin Olsen Field at Romney Stadium, and all gates open at 4:30 p.m.
The Romney Stadium South Ticket Office will open at 10 a.m., as the Spectrum Ticket Office will be closed all day Friday. Phone lines will be open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for tickets by calling 435-797-0305 or 1-888-USTATE1.
The North and East Ticket Offices open at 3 p.m. with the Player Pass gate along with all other gates opening at 4:30 p.m.
Game day tickets are available to buy on-line as well as future event tickets, and fans can purchase tickets from the comfort of their own home without a wait in line. Fans are encouraged to come early to pickup and purchase tickets to the game, as a large walk-up crowd is expected.
The North and East ticket windows of Romney Stadium will be open and available for ticket purchasing. At previous home games, lines have been minimal to sparse at either the North or the East ticket windows. Fans can enter the stadium from both locations.
There is no need to go to the South ticket window unless fans are needing to pick up Will Call tickets, or if they want to purchase future event tickets.
The cash lines at all three ticket sale locations (South, North and East) are extremely quick. Credit card and ATM sales take a little longer due to the new Payment Card Industry Rules.
Part of the many pre-game festivities surrounding Friday night's Utah State-BYU football game is a dinner fundraiser tailgate dinner to benefit the American Breast Cancer Foundation. Food will be provided by Flava, a unique personal chef.
The fundraising tailgate runs from 3-5:30 p.m. in the Southwest Parking Lot of Romney Stadium and will include hot wings, hamburgers, steaks and hot dogs with proceeds going to the American Breast Cancer Foundation. Donations will also be accepted.
The American Breast Cancer Foundation fundraising tailgate is part of the Macey's Tailgate, and there will also be other activities sponsored by Conservice, Convergys, Ensign Toyota Honda, US Army, Mountain Ridge Helicopter, Pinnacle Security, Staples and UDOT.
The HURD's festivities will start with the Aggie Stampede through campus starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Living Learning Community (LLC). At 4 p.m., the HURD tailgate party will start at the Romney Stadium parking lot. New HURD members can also sign up at this time.
