UP NEXT -- Utah State heads to Kevin Robinson's hometown of Fresno, Calif., to take on Fresno State Bulldogs on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. (MT).

USU IN OCTOBER -- Utah State has a four-game losing streak in October and has lost 15 of its last 18 games in the Canadian Thanksgiving month... USU won its first game of October last season, edging Fresno State, 13-12, on Oct. 7... Saturday is the Aggies' first game on Oct. 27 since 2001, when USU beat Central Florida, 30-27... Overall, USU is 4-2 on Oct. 27, currently on a three-game win streak with all three at home and overall USU is 4-1 on Oct. 27 at home... Here's a look at how USU has fared on Oct. 27:

1962 - W 27-21 vs. BYU 1984 - W 41-14 vs. Pacific
1973 - L 16-27 vs. Kent State	1990 - W 31-6 vs. UNLV
1979 - L 14-28 at Arizona State	2001 - W 30-27 vs. Central Florida

OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN -- Each week Utah State will select game captains. Those selected for the Louisiana Tech game are #56 junior center Ryan Tonnemacher for the offense, #13 senior DE and New Orleans, La. native Carl Singleton for the defense and #6 senior WR/KR Kevin Robinson for special teams.

ROBINSON IN ELITE COMPANY -- Utah State's Kevin Robinson is one of three players in the country with two kick returns for a touchdown this season joining Felix Jones of Arkansas and Marcus Herford of Kansas... With three combined punt (one) and kick returns (two) for TD's, Robinson joins Leodis McKelvin of Troy (three punt returns) as the only two players in the nation with three returns for scores.

LOOK OUT FOR NO. 1 -- With 5,620 career all-purpose yards, Robinson is currently sitting at No. 2 on the USU career all-purpose list... The No. 1 spot is held by Emmett White (1998-2001) with 5,872 yards, meaning that Robinson needs just 253 yards to take over the No. 1 spot.

WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN -- Robinson's 5,620 career all-purpose yards, a mark that would rank him fifth on the WAC career all-purpose yards, recently passing Marshall Faulk of San Diego State (1991-93) at No. 6... However, since USU was not in the WAC during Robinson's freshman season of 2004, those stats cannot be applied toward that mark... A double however is that of the three years of Robinson's career that the Aggies have been in the WAC he has 4,310 all-purpose yards, which are just out of the top 15 (Ryan Yarborough of Wyoming - 1990-93 with 4,357 yards at No. 15)... With Robinson's current pace of 208.3 all-purpose ypg, he will have 6,662 career all-purpose yards, a mark that would put him at No. 2, topping LaDainian Tomlinson of TCU (1997-2000) with 6,337 yards and just behind the No. 1 spot of Terance Mathis of New Mexico (1985-87, 89) with 6,691 yards... As it is, Robinson's current average would give him 5,352 career all-purpose yards in his three years in the WAC, putting him at No. 10.

ROBINSON/JACKSON MAKING MILESTONES -- Senior WR/KR Kevin Robinson topped the 2,000 yard receiving mark at Oklahoma, becoming the 10th receiver in USU history to reach the 2,000 yard milestone... Fellow senior, QB Leon Jackson III surpassed the 3,000 yard passing plateau vs. San Jose State, becoming the 10th Aggie in school history to reach that milestone.

SWEET HOME? -- Utah State has just one home win in its last 10 home games, currently on a five-game home losing skein... The Aggies are 3-10 at home under head coach Brent Guy.

ROAD WOE-IORS -- Life on the road has been tough for the Aggies, who are currently on a 10-game road losing skid, last winning on the road in the 2005 season finale at New Mexico State, 24-21.

ABOUT UTAH STATE -- Senior WR/KR Kevin Robinson leads not only the WAC but the NCAA with 208.3 all-purpose yards per game... Robinson also leads the league and is second in the nation in punt returns (21.4 ypr) as well as second in the conference and 12th in the country in kick returns (29.8 ypr)... Robinson is averaging a team-leading 4.7 catches per game for an 11.4 ypc average with two TD's on the season... The junior S duo of Roy Hurst and Caleb Taylor have a team-leading two interceptions each... Freshman K Peter Caldwell is tied for the conference lead in field goals (10-of-12) and is second in field goal percentage (.833)... In the WAC team statistics, USU is eighth in the league in scoring offense (20.0 ppg) and seventh in scoring defense (35.6 ppg)... The Aggies are second in the conference and seventh in the country in kickoff returns (26.8 ypr) and rank second in the league and fourth in the nation in punt returns (20.4 ypr)... Despite only having two fewer yards of total offense than the Broncos (465-463), the Bulldogs were hampered by three interceptions and one fumble... La Tech senior QB Zac Champion was 24-of-42 passing for 255 yards and one TD but did have the three INT's as well as being sacked three times... Champion hit nine different receivers... Sophomore RB Daniel Porter had a game-high 131 rushing yards, highlighted by a 74-yard TD scamper... In the WAC stats, Champion is seventh in passing per game (171.4 ypg) with eight TD's and five INT's on the season... Defensively Baker is third in the league in tackles (10.7 pg) while junior DB Weldon Brown leads the conference in passes defended with seven break-ups and four INT's... The Aggies dropped to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in the WAC with the 48-35 loss. Louisiana Tech improved to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the WAC. A field goal and two long passes of 66 and 35 yards by the Bulldogs, put the home team up 17-0 in the first quarter. AGGIES-BULLDOGS LAST TIME AT LOGAN -- Utah State rolled up 478 yards of total offense for its most yards since 2003, but four fumbles stopped the Aggies as Louisiana Tech posted a 27-17 win at Logan on Nov. 5, 2005. Louisiana Tech netted just 276 yards of total offense, but took advantage of USU's fumbles as the Bulldogs needed just 22, 40, 50, 43 and 21 yards for their five scoring drives. The visiting Bulldogs kicked two first quarter field goals to lead 6-0. USU then scored the only other points of the first half on a 35-yard field goal by Justin Hamblin as the second quarter expired. Louisiana Tech pushed its lead to 13-3 early in the third quarter before USU's Ryan Bohm scored his first of two rushing touchdowns to pull the Aggies within 13-10 with 4:21 left in the third quarter. However, Tech scored on a three-yard run to start the fourth quarter and then found the end zone less than 1:30 later after capitalizing on a fumbled kickoff return. USU quarterback Leon Jackson threw for a career high 372 yards, the most passing yards by an Aggie quarterback since 2002. VS NEVADA NOTEABLE
TIGHT END LEADING CATCHER -- By leading USU in receiving Saturday with 41 yards on three catches, junior TE Rob Myers became the first TE to lead the Aggies in receiving since current Washington Redskins' TE Chris Cooley did so against Idaho, Nov. 22, 2003 with 10 catches for 125 yards.

TD'S FOR QB -- Senior QB Leon Jackson III's two rushing TD's in the first and fourth quarters now give him four for the season and five for his career... Jackson's four rushing TD's this year are the most for a USU QB since Travis Cox had four in 2003.

ROBINSON'S RETURNS -- Senior WR/KR Kevin Robinson's 70-yard punt return for TD was his third special teams TD of the season (two kick returns, one punt return) and his fourth punt return of his career... Robinson now takes sole possession of the USU career record for punt returns, surpassing John Strycula (1969-71) and Bob Wicks (1969-71) with three each... Robinson already holds the school record for special teams returns with seven (four career punt returns, three career kick returns)... Robinson now has 26 career TD's, one shy of Rick Parros' 27 TD's (1976-79) on the USU Career TD list... The 70-yard return was Robinson's longest punt return since an 87-yarder his sophomore season of 2005.

LEADING AT THE HALF -- Utah State led at halftime for just the second time this season (game one vs. UNLV 10-3).

FIVE FOR 100 -- With Nevada's Luke Lippincott topping the 100-yard rushing mark, it was the fourth time and the fifth individual to have 100-yards rushing on the USU defense.

DOUBLE CENTURY MARK -- By Lippincott surpassing the 200-yard rushing mark, he becomes the first opposing player to reach 200-yards rushing on the USU defense since Jamario Brown of North Texas had 256 yards in 2004... Current USU offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey was head coach of the Mean Green at the time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MAKING HIS MARK -- Senior WR Kevin Robinson is one of only two USU players to lead the team in scoring for three-straight seasons, matching Tom Larscheid from 1959-61. If Robinson leads the Aggies in scoring again, he will become the first player in school history to lead four seasons in a row. Robinson will also be looking to match Kendal Smith (1986-88) as the only Aggies to lead the team in receiving three times, as Robinson led USU his freshman and junior seasons of 2004 and `06, respectively.

HEAD COACH Brent Guy -- Brent Guy (Oklahoma State, 1983) is in his third year as head coach after coming to Utah State from Arizona State where he was the defensive coordinator for four years. Guy was an assistant coach (linebackers) at Utah State from 1992-94 under then head coach Charlie Weatherbie. During that time, USU posted its only bowl victory in school history, claiming the 1993 Las Vegas Bowl. Guy was involved in eight bowl games in 19 years as a collegiate assistant coach. Previous stops include Oklahoma State (1986-91 - graduate assistant 1986-87, recruiting coordinator 1988, linebackers 1989-91), Utah State (1992-94 - linebackers), Oklahoma State (1995-97 - linebackers), Boise State (1998-2000 - defensive coordinator) and Arizona State (2001-04 - defensive coordinator) before being named the Aggies' 25th head coach in December of 2004.
