ON TV -- Saturday's battle between the Warriors and Aggies will be televised by CW30 (Comcast Ch. 15 in Cache Valley)... Play-by-play will be by Jim Leahey with analysis from Russell Yamanoho.

ON THE AIR -- All Utah State football games are carried live on KVNU 610 AM and KLZX 95.9 FM in Logan; 1230 AM in Salt Lake City; on KLZX 105.3 FM in Montpelier, Idaho, and on the Internet at www.UtahStateAggies.com by clicking on "Listen Live"... Al Lewis handles the play-by-play duties and Craig Hislop provides analysis.

LIVE STATS -- Fans can follow Saturday's game by clicking on the "Live Stats" link on USU web site at www.UtahStateAggies.com, which will connect to UH's live stats updates on play-by-play and statistics throughout the game.

111 / 117 -- USU is taking the field for the 111th season of football in 117 years. The Aggies beat Utah, 12-0, in 1892, but then did not field a team until 1896, when they again only played one game but then played every year since with the exceptions of 1918 when to World War I and influenza cancelled the season and 1943 due to World War II.

NATIONAL COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAY -- National College Football Day, observed on the first Saturday of November, was created by the AT&T Cotton Bowl six years ago as a way to pay tribute to a significant moment in our nation's history. On Nov. 6, 1869, Rutgers defeated Princeton, 6-4. More importantly, those college athletes left a lasting legacy that would evolve into the great spectacle of football. In 2007, the holiday took on added significance when the Classic teamed up with The V Foundation for Cancer Research.

A USU WIN WOULD...
• Be USU's second win in three games.
• Move USU to 2-3 in WAC play, matching last season for top league record in USU's five seasons in the WAC.
• Snap the Aggies' road losing skein at 11 in a row and give USU its first road win since 2007, which came as part of a two-game win streak starting over NMSU and continuing the next week at Idaho, after losing all six road contests last season and all five road games so far this year.
• Be Utah State's second win over Hawai'i in as many seasons and would be the Aggies first back-to-back seasons with wins over the Warriors since 1965-66.
• Move USU to 6-4 all-time vs. Hawai'i.
• Even the Aggies ledger at Hawai'i at 3-3.
• Give USU a 3-2 mark against Hawai'i in games in November.
• Be Utah State's fifth win in its last seven November games, improving to 6-11 in the 11th month during USU's four years in the WAC.
• Improve the Aggies to 8-5-1 all-time on Nov. 7 and be their fourth win in the last five games on the date.
• Move USU to 5-4 on the road on Nov. 7 and 4-2 in games outside of Utah on the date.
• Give USU a 6-3 record in games off the mainland, improving to 3-3 at Hawai'i and 3-0 in Japan.
• Turn the "A" Blue.

A USU LOSS WOULD...
• Be USU's second loss in a row overall, dropping to 2-7 overall and 1-4 in WAC play, matching the 2005 and 2006 teams for second-best league mark through five games behind last year's 2-3 mark and ahead of the 2007 0-5 record.
• Be Utah State's 12th road loss in a row overall.
• Deal USU its third loss in a row at Hawai'i, dropping to 2-4 there all-time.
• Even the Aggies' all-time ledger with Hawai'i at 5-5, losing four of the last five meetings, all of which have been as WAC opponents.
• Be USU's second-straight loss on Nov. 7, moving its record to 7-6-1 all-time on the date.
• Deal the Aggies their third loss in November in the last four games, dropping to 5-12 in the American Thanksgiving month.
• As always, be not as good as a win.

STRETCH OF TIGHT GAMES -- Utah State's last four games have all been decided by four points or less (L, 17-20 at New Mexico State on Oct. 10; L, 32-35 vs. Nevada on Oct. 17; W, 23-21 vs. Louisiana Tech on Oct. 24; L, 27-31 at Fresno State)... This is the second time in USU's history that the Aggies have had such a stretch, with five-straight in 2002. It is the first time that such a streak has happened in conference games.

CURRENT AGGIE COACHES VS. HAWAI'I -- Besides having one coach who coached at Hawai'i in offensive line coach Alex Gerke (UH offensive line/running backs coach, 2008) Utah State has six members of its coaching staff that have faced Hawai'i, either as a coach or a player or both, as is the case for Gerke, who coached against UH as an assistant at Utah in 1998 and as a player at Utah in 1982 and `83, as well as USU defensive line coach Chad Kauha'aha'a who coached against Hawai'i as an assistant at Weber State and played against the Warriors during his playing days at Utah... Due to USU offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin's involvement in the game, Saturday could be a shootout, as his teams are averaging 43.5 points vs. Hawai'i in six meetings as either San Jose State head coach (1997-2000) or Michigan State offensive coordinator (2004-'05)... Overall, those six members are a combined 8-7 vs. Hawai'i.

QUICK STRIKE OFFENSE -- The Aggies' offense doesn't need much time to score, as USU is among the national leaders for two minute scoring drives for both just TD's (12) and both TD's and FG's (15), ranking tied for 11th and Utah State is 10th in the country for least amount of offensive three and outs per game with a 3.0 average, totaling 24 three and outs in its eight games... BOREL CLOSING IN ON 2,000 YARDS PASSING -- Junior QB Diondre Borel needs 79 passing yards to reach the 2,000 yard mark for the season, in which he would become the 18th Aggie QB to reach the 2,000 yard milestone... As long as it doesn't take him 33 attempts to get that 79 yards, Borel would have the fewest attempts to reach the 2,000 yard mark in USU history, topping the previous best mark of 284 attempts by Tony Adams in 1971... If Borel can get the 79 yards in four or fewer completions, he would have the second-best mark behind the 144 by Adams also in `71.

TURBO-ING TOWARD 1,000 YARDS RUSHING -- Sophomore RB Robert Turbin currently has 872 rushing yards this season, needing 128 to reach the 1,000 yard milestone and become the 14th Aggie running back with 1,000 rushing yards in a season... Turbin would become the first 1,000 yard rusher since Emmett White in 2001... Turbin is currently No. 20 on USU's single-season rushing list, but could vault to No. 14 with another 100 yard outing, as he is only 99 yards from the No. 14 spot, currently held by Demario Brown with 971 yards in 1997... Brown is the school's single-season rushing record holder with 1,536 in 1999.

EACH OTHER'S LAST TIME LIST -- On Utah State's "Last Time" list, Hawai'i is referenced three times: USU's last 400 yard rushing outing was against Hawai'i in 1966, the only mark on USU's "Last Time" list... The last pair of opponent individual receivers with 100 yards receiving was UH's C.J. Hawthorne (nine catches, 116 yards, TD) and Jason Rivers (7-130, TD) in 2007 while the only time that a USU opponent has had three individuals each with 100 yards receiving was Hawthorne, Rivers and Ryan Grice-Mullen (5-113) in that same 2007 game... Utah State is referenced five times on Hawai'i's "Last Time" list: Solomon Elimimian was the last UH defender with 20 tackles, posting 20 stops vs. USU in 2007... David Veikune was the last UH defender with two sacks as well as three tackles for loss in a game vs. USU in 2008... Nate Ilaoa's 53-yard rush is the last 50+ rush by a UH RB, doing so in 2005... USU's Diondre Borel is the last UH opponent with a 50 or a 60-yard rush with his 61-yard scamper last year.
