Of its 57 academic all-WAC selections from its spring sports, Utah State had 23 student-athletes from women's outdoor track honored, along with 15 from men's outdoor track, six from softball, five from both men's tennis and women's tennis, and three from the men's golf team.
In all, approximately 51 percent of USU's student-athletes earned a 3.2 GPA to qualify for the awards.

2012-13 (Fr.): Finished the season with a stroke average of 74.82 over 28 rounds... Season-best 54-hole score was a 2-over 218 (72-71-75) at the Cal State Northridge hosted Bill Cullum Invitational... Had his best-ever collegiate finish at the Southern Utah hosted Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational with a 3-over 147 (71-76) to tie for 12th... Posted four top-20 finishes during the season, including tying for 15th with a 5-over 221 (79-70-72) at the Weber State hosted Battle at the Tetons... Overall, carded eight under par rounds during the year, including a season-best round of 67 at the Boise State hosted Dash Thomas Memorial... Ended the season in 19th place at the WAC Championships with a 12-over 228 (71-81-76)... Earned academic all-WAC honors.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Hillcrest High School in Salt Lake City, Utah... Finished second at the state championships as a prep senior as he had a stroke average of 70.80 during the year... Earned all-region and all-state honors as a senior, and all-region honors as a junior.. Was named Hillcrest's Golfer of the Year in 2011 and 2012... Finished 24th at the 2011 Optimist International Junior Championships... Was a Utah Scholar and a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
