Utah State Golfer Seokwon Jeon Ties Collegiate-Best Round and is Tied For Third-Place at South Dakota Hosted Jackrabbit Invitational

PRIMM, Nev. - Utah State's Seokwon Jeon is tied for third-place with a 4-under par 140 (73-67) following the first two rounds of the South Dakota hosted Jackrabbit Invitational held here Monday at the Primm Valley Golf Club.
Jeon, a sophomore from Salt Lake City, Utah, began the tournament with a 1-over 73 before carding a 5-under 67 during his second 18 holes to tie his collegiate-best round.
Utah State is currently in fourth-place in the 15-team field with a 10-over 586 (296-290), while UNLV has a 17-shot lead on the rest of the field with a 17-under 559 (275-284). UNLV's Carl Johnson sits on top of the leaderboard with a 6-under 138 (71-67).
Senior Tanner Higham (Shelley, Idaho) is currently tied for 19th-place for Utah State with a 3-over 147 (72-75), while fellow senior Grahm Schmaltz (Kalispell, Mont.) is tied for 24th-place with a 4-over 148 (74-74). Freshman Braxton Miller (Boise, Idaho) is tied for 40th-place with a 7-over 151 (77-74) and sophomore Reed Platke (Whitefish, Mont.) is tied for 68th-place with a 14-over 158 (77-81).
