Utah State's Tanner Higham in Sixth-Place Following First Two Rounds of Wyoming Cowboy Classic

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Wyoming Cowboy Classic - Day One Results
Utah State's Tanner Higham is currently in sixth-place with a 6-under par 134 (66-68) after the first two rounds of the Wyoming hosted Cowboy Classic held here at the North Course of the Talking Stick Golf Club Monday. Utah State currently sits in 21st-place in the 23-team field with a 15-over 576 (287-289). San Diego and Kansas State are tied for first after the first two rounds at 15-under 545, while Colorado State's Mike Wuertz sits atop the leader board with a 12-under 128 (64-64). Higham, a sophomore from Shelley, Idaho shot a collegiate low 4-under 66 during his first round before carding a 2-under 68 on his second 18-holes. Overall, Higham had nine birdies during the day and a scoring average of 3.83 on the par 4's to rank tied for fifth in the field. Senior Chanse Godderidge (Smithfield, Utah) is tied for 96th with a 7-over 147 (74-73), freshman Brennan Coburn (Layton, Utah) is tied for 102nd at 8-over 148 (75-73), junior Kris Sayer (Idaho Falls, Idaho) is tied for 107th at 9-over 149 (74-75), and freshman Tanner Jenson (Parker, Colo.) is tied for 111th after shooting a 10-over 150 (73-77) Monday.
