Utah State's Tanner Higham Finishes Tied For 19th At PING Cougar Classic

PROVO, Utah - PING Cougar Classic Final Results Utah State finished in ninth-place in the nine-team field with a 34-over 898 (302-301-295). BYU won the tournament with a 14-under 850 (290-284-276), while Zahkai Brown from Colorado State took medalist honors with an 11-under 205 (68-72-65). Freshman Tanner Jenson (Parker, Colo.) finished tied for 28th for USU with a 7-over 223 (73-76-74), while freshman Andrew Paulson (Sandy, Utah) tied for 35th with a 9-over 225 (79-72-74). Junior Brendan Dennis (Roosevelt, Utah) finished tied for 48th with an 18-over 234 (77-80-77), and senior Chanse Godderidge (Smithfield, Utah) finished in 51st-place with a 23-over 239 (86-79-74). Utah State also had two individuals competing as freshman Brennan Coburn (Layton, Utah) finished tied for 33rd with an 8-over 224 (75-75-74) and senior Cobie Lunsford (Evanston, Wyo.) ended the tournament tied for 42nd with an 11-over 227 (74-79-74). Utah State will return to action on Monday, April 30 when it travels to Henderson, Nev., to compete in the 2012 Western Athletic Conference Championships. TEAM RESULTS 1.
