Kalivas Leads Aggies To Best Finish Of Season

LOGAN, Utah - Phil Kalivas led Utah State to a season-best third place finish at the Boise State Men's Invitational Tuesday, ending the fall season. Kalivas tied for fifth place individually shooting just four-over par in the three-round tournament. Kalivas had the best individual score of the Aggie season.

Other USU players also had season best scores. Nate Blotter finished in the top 10, tying for eighth place just two strokes behind Kalivas at 222. Mike Ericson finished with a season-best 11-over-par score of 227, Kevin Mullen tied for 26th place at 231 and Stewart Cozzens shot a 17-over-par 233.

The Aggies will begin their Spring season March 1-2 at New Mexico State.
