Aggie Golfers Conclude Fall Season at Cal State Northridge Hosted Bill Cullum Invitational This Week

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men's golf team will conclude its fall schedule this week at the Bill Cullum Invitational hosted by Cal State Northridge in Simi Valley, Calif., at the Wood Ranch Golf Club.
The 54-hole tournament gets underway on Monday, Oct. 17 at 9:45 a.m. (MT) with two rounds followed by the final round on Tuesday, Oct. 27 beginning at 9 a.m. (MT).
Scheduled to compete for the Aggies this week will be senior Chanse Godderidge (Smithfield, Utah), junior Brendan Dennis (Roosevelt, Utah) and freshmen Brennan Coburn (Layton, Utah), Tanner Jenson (Parker, Colo.) and Andrew Paulson (Sandy, Utah).
Coburn has been USU's top finisher in three of its four tournaments this fall and has a stroke average of 74.75 in 12 rounds. Jenson has also played 12 rounds this year, including six as an individual, and has a stroke average of 74.66 to lead the team. Godderidge is the only other player on the team to have played in every event this fall and has a stroke average of 75.50, while Paulson has stroke average of 75.50 in six rounds and Dennis has a stroke average of 76.44 in nine rounds.
Godderidge led Utah State in its last competition as the Aggies finished in eighth-place at the Weber State hosted Wildcat Invitational with a 41-over 905 (306-296-303). Godderidge tied for 28th individually with a 9-over 225 (78-74-73).
Utah State finished in 14th-place at the 2009 Bill Cullum Invitational with a 29-over 893 (293-297-303). as Godderidge tied for 70th with a 14-over 230 (73-78-79).
