Aggie Golfers Conclude Fall Season at Cal State Northridge Hosted Bill Cullum Invitational This Week

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men's golf team will conclude its fall schedule this week at the Bill Cullum Invitational hosted Cal State Northridge in Simi Valley, Calif., at the par-72, 6,819 yard Wood Ranch Golf Club.
The 54-hole tournament gets underway on Monday, Oct. 21 at 8:45 a.m. (MT) with two rounds, followed by the final round on Tuesday, Oct. 22 beginning at 8 a.m. (MT).
Joining Utah State in the 20-team tournament field will be Arizona State, CSU Bakersfield, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Gonzaga, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, Sacramento State, San Diego, Seattle, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, Utah Valley, Weber State and host Cal State Northridge.
Scheduled to compete for the Aggies is senior Tanner Higham (Shelley, Idaho), junior Grahm Schmaltz (Kalispell, Mont.), sophomores Brennan Coburn (Layton, Utah) and Seokwon Jeon (Salt Lake City, Utah), and freshman Eli Rogers (Hamilton, Mont.).
In its last competition, Utah State finished tied for second-place out of nine teams at the Utah Invitational with a 21-over 1086 (355-359-372) as Jeon took medalist honors with a collegiate-best 7-under 206 (67-71-68).
Thus far in 2013, Jeon leads Utah State with a stroke average of 70.92, followed by Higham (71.83), Rogers (75.00), Schmaltz (75.50), freshman Braxton Miller (76.50), Coburn (75.89), sophomore Reed Platke (78.66) and freshman Dylan Cramer (78.00).
