LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men's golf team will conclude the fall portion of its schedule on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 27-28, when it travels to Simi Valley, Calif., to compete in the Bill Cullum Invitational. The 54-hole tournament, hosted by Cal State Northridge, will feature 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday, with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Utah State will play against a field of 11 teams, including familiar foes Southern Utah and Utah Valley State. Arizona State, UCLA and USC will also compete in the tournament, fielding individuals whose score will not count towards team scoring.

Competing for Utah State will be seniors Devin Daniels, Tyler Labrum and Toph Peterson, and sophomores Tyson McFarland and Benjamin Schilleman. Schilleman leads the team with a scoring average of 74.77, while Peterson and Labrum round out the top three, averaging 75.11 and 75.66, respectively.

In its last competition, Utah State notched a 9-7 win against Southern Utah in the two school's annual Ryder Cup-style competition. In three other tournaments during the fall, USU has posted three top 10 finishes.
