2011 (Sr.): Recorded a 15-15 overall singles record, including a 10-8 dual match record playing at the No. 5 spot… In doubles, partnered with Nate Ballum (2-1), Lenny Whiting (2-1) and Fredrik Peterson (7-14) to earn 11 doubles wins… Earned Academic all-WAC honors… Finished his career No. 10 on USU’s all-time singles wins list with 35 and No. 7 on USU’s all-time doubles list with 34.

2010 (Jr.): Finished the season with a 16-12 record in singles action, including a 1-0 mark at the No. 1 spot and a 8-4 mark at the No. 6 spot... Also posted an 8-5 doubles record at the No. 3 spot with partner Alex Thatcher, including a the season-high doubles WAC winning record of 2-1.

2009 (So.): Finished with an 8-12 record during the season, including a 1-0 mark at the No. 3 singles spot... Also had a combined doubles record of 9-11 with two different partners, including a 1-1 mark at the No. 3 doubles position... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2008 (Fr.): Had a 2-9 singles record, which included a 1-2 mark at the No. 6 spot during the spring season... Posted a 3-8 double record as well.

Personal: Born Feb. 18 in Paradise, Utah... Full name is Alex Scott Thatcher... Son of Dave and Kathleen Thatcher... Has eleven siblings... Served a two-year LDS Church Mission to Munich, Germany and Austria... His brother Aaron played baseball for the Minnesota Twins and his sister Katie ran track at USU... Graduated with a degree in journalism and communication with an emphasis in public relations.
