LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis (1-1, 0-0 MW) travels to Las Cruces, N.M., this weekend to face former Western Athletic Conference foe New Mexico State and Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Jan. 24 and 25 respectively. First set for both matches is set for 11 a.m. (MT).

The Aggies look to build off a solid 5-2 win against Idaho State Monday, when freshmen Dennis Baumgartner and Tomas Cosmai, junior Matt Sweet and senior Andrew Whiting all won their singles matches in straight-sets. Utah State also swept the doubles matches, going 3-0 on the day.

Last season, Utah State faced New Mexico State twice, once in the regular season and again at the WAC Tournament. New Mexico State took both matches, winning the first 4-2 and the second 4-0. The doubles teams of Whiting and Marcus Fritz, and Fredrik Peterson and Curran Wearmouth both won doubles matches in the regular season matchup to go along with Sweet's singles win.

Utah State's last match against Texas A&M Corpus Christi came in 2012, when the Aggeis lost 7-0.
