Utah State Men's Tennis Ready For Rematch With Weber State On Tuesday

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men's tennis team (8-8, 0-1 MW) is set to travel to Ogden, Utah for its second match of the season against Weber State (9-7, 4-0 Big Sky) on Tuesday, March 25. First serve is set for 12:00 p.m. (MT).

In the first meeting of the season between the Aggies and Wildcats on Feb. 22, Utah State walked away with a 5-2 win at home. In doubles, junior Matt Sweet and freshman Sebastian Schneider partnered together for a win, while senior Andrew Whiting and junior Sean Levesque earned a doubles win of their own.

In singles, Sweet, Schneider, junior Marcus Fritz and freshman Tomas Cosmai all earned wins for the Aggies over their in-state rivals.

The Wildcats are lead by Todd Fought with 11 singles wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Landon Barlow has nine singles wins on the year and is currently on a five-match win streak. Oliver Good rounds out the team's wins leaders with eight.

After the Weber State match, the Aggies travel to Boise, Idaho, on April 5 to face Boise State in a Mountain West contest.
