USU Men's Tennis Holds at No. 45 in Final ITA Rankings

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men’s tennis held at No. 45 in the nation in the final Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll, marking the ninth consecutive week that the Aggies have appeared in the top-50 of the nation. USU was ranked as high as No. 39 during the year, its highest ranking in school history.

Utah State captured both the regular season and Mountain West Tournament title in 2017, totaling a school-record 23 wins in head coach James Wilson’s inaugural season. USU also appeared in the ITA National Indoor Team Championship and secured a berth in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, both program firsts.

The Aggies were the only team in the state of Utah and the only team in the Mountain West to appear in the final rankings. For the complete rankings via the ITA's website, please click here.
