Aggie Men And Women's Tennis Set To Compete In ITA Tournament

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men and women's tennis teams will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tournament this week on Wednesday, Oct. 15-18. The women will play in Salt Lake City and the men's team will play in Las Vegas, Nev. Last weekend both teams hosted the Utah State Fall tournament held at the Sports Academy in Logan, Utah. Mike Banks did well for the Aggie men, winning the singles consolation bracket and competing in the doubles consolation championship. Hailey Swenson and Bridgette Strickland battled in the women's tournament doubles championship round and won, 8-3. The ITA tournament will run all day Wednesday through Saturday. This tournament will conclude fall action for the Aggies, resuming in the spring.
