THIS SEASON: A forward in high school, has made the transition to playing guard this year. Signed a national letter of intent to play for the Aggies, Dec. 3, 2002. DIXIE STATE COLLEGE (2001-02): A 2002 All-America honoree... Averaged 12.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore... Led Dixie to a conference championship and a 27-6 record... Her freshman year, Dixie State finished 19-12 and she averaged 6.3 points and 3.5 rebounds... As a sophomore, Dixie State won the region... Also was named Dixie's female athlete of the year in 2002. HIGH SCHOOL: Won three letters at Orem... Played on two squads that finished third in state... Earned all-state recognition... Was her teams' MVP as a senior... Also played tennis, volleyball and soccer and ran track... Earned three letters in tennis... Took second as a singles competitor at state tennis her senior year and third as a junior. PERSONAL: Art education major... Enjoys art and piano... The daughter of Terry and Sherry Peterson of Orem, Utah... Born Dec. 14, 1981... Is the third of six children and has four sisters and a brother... Is married to David Grant, who was a starting quarterback at Dixie State... Chose Utah State because of Coach Pebley... Would like to teach art after graduation. |
