Imai was also honored by the Hawaii Star Bulletins as one of the Fab-Five players in the State of Hawaii in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She was a 2010 McDonald's All-American semi finalist as well as an ESPN 2010 Nationally Ranked Player. Imai was inducted into the 2010 Hawaii High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor and was recognized as the Female Athlete of the Year three times (2008, 2009, 2010).
