THIS SEASON: A tough, hard-nosed player with tremendous work ethic... A very good defender with excellent range... Signed a national letter of intent to play for the Aggies in May of 2003. HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters under coach Dalager at Churchill County High School... Led her team to a record of 19-7 her senior season while averaging 15.4 points, eight assists, and five steals per game... During her senior season she shot 40 percent from beyond the arc... Holds the Churchill County High School three-point record; she made 58 three-pointers in 20 games her junior year and 56 three-point field goals in 26 games her senior year... During her high school career she scored more than 1,000 points... Played in the 2003 Nevada 4A state tournament. PERSONAL: Undecided major... The daughter of Robby and Candace Johnston of Fallon, Nev.... Born Nov. 28, 1984... Is the fourth of five children, and has two brothers and two sisters... Chose Utah State for its great academic programs and because the community is so supportive of USU athletics... Anticipates Utah State's first season to be fun and successful. |
