Otero Junior College: (2001-03) Averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game as a sophomore at Otero Junior College, leading her team to a 25-6 record... Also led her team to the championship game of the Region IX Tournament where she averaged 18.8 points and 4.25 steals for the tournament... Led the tournament in scoring (75 points), steals (17) and defensive rebounds (23)... Named all-Region IX and selected to the all-tournament team. High School: Lettered two years at Loveland High School before transferring to Thompson Valley High School for her senior season... Selected first team all-conference and first team all-region her sophomore and junior seasons... Was honorable mention all-conference and all-region her senior year as she averaged 13 points per game... As a senior, led her team in assists and steals and was selected the defensive player of the year... Also earned all-conference in track and field her senior season as she went to the state tournament in the shot put and discus. Personal: Daughter of Angie and Joel Snyder... Is the youngest of four siblings, has one brother and two sisters... Her brother played basketball at Regis University in Denver, Colo... Born Dec. 7, 1982... Enjoys cliff jumping, computers and music... Plans on majoring in education... Chose Utah State because she felt like she belonged here. |
