LOGAN, Utah - Jenny Gross was the only Aggie to score in double-figures as Utah State dropped its 10th straight game, falling 61-48 at Hawai'I here late Thursday night.

Gross scored 12 points, while no other Aggie scored more than seven points in the loss. Hawai'I, which improved to 11-6 overall and 2-4 in the WAC, was led by Janevia Taylor, who had 21 points and 13 rebounds. Brittany Grice chipped in 18 points for the winners.

USU, which fell to 1-15 overall and 0-6 in league play, shot just 29.4 percent from the floor and was out-rebounded 43-31. For the third time in its last four games, the Aggies shot less than 30 percent from the field and their 48 points were their third lowest this season.

USU held a one-point lead at 22-21 after four consecutive points by Camille Brox, but the Wahine took a 29-26 halftime lead. USU got as close as 29-28 after a pair of free throws by Jessica Freeman, before Hawai'I pushed its margin to 47-37 with 11:31 remaining. The Aggies never got closer than eight points the rest of the way.

Gross also led the Aggies in rebounding pulling down seven boards, while Ali Marchant had five rebounds. Brox and Freeman, each had seven points for the Aggies.

Utah State will continue play hosting New Mexico State on Thursday, Feb. 2 and Louisiana Tech on Saturday, Feb. 4. Both games will tipoff at 7 p.m.
