Utah State Women's Basketball Plays At Boise State On Thursday

Utah State's women's basketball continues its three-game road stretch, heading to Idaho to take on defending Western Athletic Conference champion Boise State on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. (MT) in Boise at BSU's Taco Bell Arena.
Utah State is 6-9 on the season after falling at New Mexico State, 71-56, on Saturday. USU, who is fourth in the WAC with a 2-1 league record, is led by junior guard Danyelle Snelgro who is averaging 10.1 points, 2.9 assists and 2.5 steals per game, while senior guard Taylor Richards is averaging 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game. As a team, Utah State is first in the WAC in free throw percentage (.737), first in three-point field goal percentage (.358), second in steals (9.93 spg) and sixth in assists (11.80 apg).
Boise State, who is 9-6 overall and fifth in the WAC with a 1-2 league record, defeated Louisiana Tech, 85-68, on Saturday. BSU is led by Tasha Harris' 16.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, while Jessica Thompson is averaging 15.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. As a team, Boise State is first in the WAC in scoring offense (72.6 ppg), third in free throw percentage (.694) and fifth in field goal percentage (.390).
This will be the 14th meeting between the Aggies and Broncos, and Boise State leads the series, 11-2, winning the last eight in a row.
USU wraps up its three-game road stand in Moscow, battling Idaho (1-14, 0-3 WAC) on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. (MT) in UI's Cowan Spectrum.
