LAS VEGAS. Nev. - Utah State senior guard Devyn Christensen was named to the Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball all-Tournament team, which was announced Saturday evening after the WAC Championship at the Orleans Arena at Las Vegas, Nev.

Christensen, a native of Caldwell, Idaho, becomes the second USU women's basketball player to collect WAC all-Tournament accolades in the Aggies' eight years in the conference after Ashlee Brown was named to the team last season. The senior averaged 26.5 points and shot 51.3 percent from the field (20-of-39), including half of her three-pointers (13-of-26), in the Aggies' two games. She scored a career-high and the second-most point in USU's history with 37 points in USU's semifinal loss to eventual champion Idaho on Friday. She also added 16 points in the Aggies' quarterfinal win over Denver on Thursday.

Joining Christensen on the all-Tournament team was Idaho's Alyssa Charlston, Seattle's Kacie Sowell and Sylvia Shepard. The Vandals Stacey Barr rounded out the team as she earned her first WAC Tournament MVP honors after third-seeded Idaho defeated top-seeded Seattle, 67-64, in Saturday's championship game.

The Aggies now await the announcements of the NCAA and Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) brackets on Monday, March 17 to determine their postseason fate.
