LOGAN, Utah - Registration is still open for each of the 2017 Jerry Finkbeiner Summer Camps. The camp season will begin with the Individual Skills and PeeWee camps on June 6, and run through June 25 and the High School Development Camp.
Registration for each camp can be done online at aggieswomensbasketballcamps.com.
The camp season will open with the Individual Skills and PeeWee camps, held Tuesday, June 6, through Thursday, June 8. Each camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily, with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. on June 6. The Individual Skills Camp will focus on the basics of the game, teaching players important skills of basketball offense, defense and ball handling. Registration is $100, open to girls entering the third through eighth grades.
The PeeWee Camp is designed for young players to get an entry-level exposure to basketball. Registration is $75 for the week and is open to girls entering kindergarten through second grade. Both the Fundamental Skills and PeeWee camps will conclude with a final competition and awards ceremony that is open to participants' parents.
The USU staff will host two sessions of the High School Team Jamboree. The first will be held Friday and Saturday, June 9-10, with the second session Friday and Saturday, June 23-24. These camps are open to high school girls varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams. Registration is $725 for teams that wish to stay on campus and $500 for commuter teams. Discounted prices are available for teams that have participated in past summers and are returning to the camp. Teams in attendance will play four games over the two days.
The Utah State camp season will wrap-up on Monday, June 25, with the High School Development Camp. The High School Development Camp is designed to help players improve skills, introduce college training techniques and learn about the college recruiting process. Registration is $65 if done by Sunday, June 24, or $75 afterward. The fee includes and a camp T-shirt. The camp is open to high school girls, entering ninth through 12th grades. Check-in will begin at Noon, with camp running from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
