With the release of the complete conference schedule from the Mountain West, Utah State women's basketball has announced the league portion of its schedule for the 2018-19 season.

The schedule format for the 11-member lineup includes eight home-and-home series and two one-time games. Utah State will play Boise State and UNLV once each, hosting the Broncos and playing a road game against the Lady Rebels. Each institution will play nine home contests and make nine road trips during the conference portion of the season. Competition is set to begin on Wednesday, Jan. 2, and will conclude on Thursday, March 7.

"The Mountain West is continuing to make great strides on the women's side of basketball," Finkbeiner said. "We are looking forward to another challenging season of great competition. We will have a veteran group on the court this year and are excited about the upcoming season."

The Aggies will open the conference season at home, hosting Nevada on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The first road contest is set for Saturday, Jan. 5, at Air Force. Utah State will then travel to Fresno State for a game on Wednesday, Jan. 9, before returning home to host Wyoming on Saturday, Jan. 12. The next week will open at home against San José State on Wednesday, Jan. 16, with the team traveling to play at Colorado State on Saturday, Jan. 19. The Aggies will have their first bye of the Mountain West season before closing out the month of January against New Mexico on Saturday, Jan. 26, and at San José State on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

The beginning of February will find the Aggies on the road, playing at UNLV on Saturday, Feb. 2. The team will then return to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum for a pair of games against Fresno State and San Diego State, on Wednesday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 9, respectively. Utah State will play at Wyoming on Wednesday, Feb. 13, before hosting Air Force on Saturday, Feb. 16. The Aggies will travel to play at New Mexico on Wednesday, Feb. 20, and will host Boise State on Saturday, Feb. 23. The month will end in a road game at San Diego State on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Utah State's final week of the regular season will begin with a game at Nevada on Saturday, March 2. The Aggies will end the year at home on Monday, March 4, against Colorado State. USU will then have its final bye of the conference season on the final day of competition.

League play will determine the seeding for the 2019 Mountain West Women's Basketball Championship, held March 10-13 at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of UNLV. The women's tournament will begin Sunday, March 10, while the men's competition will start on Wednesday, March 13.

Utah State will return 11 players from the 2017-18 roster next season, while welcoming four new players to the team. Additionally, the Aggies will have two new assistant coaches on the bench. Ashley Gill was hired in May, while another coach will be announced in the coming weeks.
