USU Women's Basketball Travels To North Dakota State Monday For First Road Game

FARGO, N.D. - Utah State women's basketball will take on North Dakota State Monday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. MT in the Bison Sports Arena. The Aggies are 0-1 on the season after falling to a tough Dixie State team Friday.

It will be the second time the Aggies and the Bison will face each other. USU played host to NDSU on Dec. 14 last season and defeated the Bison 58-46.

The Aggies fell in their season opener to Dixie State, 71-67, USU is now 1-7 in season openers since the reinstatement during the 2003-04 season.

Utah State was led by sophomore Devyn Christensen with a career-high 13 points. Christensen also added two assists and two steals. Utah State had three players in double digits. Behind Chirstensen's 13 points, senior guard/forward Amber White added 12 and senior guard LaCale Pringle-Buchanan netted 11 points.

North Dakota State played the Aggies' conference rival, New Mexico State on Nov. 12. The Bison were able to defeat the New Mexico State Aggies with career highs from Janae Burich and Katie Birkel, who netted 27 and 25 points, respectively to lead NDSU to an 88-79 win over NMSU.

Following the game against the Bison, the Aggies will return home to host Montana on Friday, Nov. 20 in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
