Lyndsie Boone is in her first year on the Utah State coaching staff, serving as a graduate assistant coach after being a highly successful four-year letterwinner for the Aggies.

"Lyndsie was a great gymnast for us for four years and has matured into an incredible young woman. She is working on her MBA and wanted to learn more about the business side of gymnastics. Her business skills, combined with her gymnastics knowledge have been a tremendous help in the day-to-day operations of the program," Richards said.

A native of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., Boone's duties will be working with all events during practice and meets, as well as some office work.

"Lyndsie's communication skills make her an incredible coach and the student-athletes respond to her coaching style very well. As a head coach you try to surround yourself with capable, hard working, self motivated people and Lyndsie emulates these qualities and has set a standard that will be hard to be equaled by GA's that will follow," Richards said.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Boone was a four-year NCAA regional qualifier, competing in the all-around in 2009, 2010 and 2011 after qualifying on beam in 2008. She was also a three-time academic all-WAC honoree as well as a three-time USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar Athlete Award recipient.

Boone earned her bachelor's degree in business entrepreneurship from USU in 2011 and is currently pursuing her master's of business administration. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2010 (JUNIOR) --An NCAA North Central Regional all-around qualifier, placing 15th with a 38.550, including registering a season-high 9.725 on bars (T23rd)... Posted career-highs in the season for vault, beam, floor and all-around... Was the top Aggie on vault at the WAC Championships, tying her career-high 9.825 (T-8th), as well as scoring a 9.750 on floor (T-29th) and a 9.525 on beam (29th)... She also tied her career-best with a 9.825 on vault (2nd) in the Boise State dual... Posted career-highs on beam with a 9.775 (6th) and in the all-around with a 38.850 (3rd) at the Sacramento State dual... Logged a career-high 9.850 in tying for top honors on floor in the San Jose State dual, posting USU's top floor score of the season... Was second in the all-around at the New Hampshire Invite with a 37.825... Won the all-around in the home meet against Boise State with a 38.850, posting a second-place finish in the vault (9.825), third on beam (9.725), fourth on the floor (9.675), and fifth on bars (9.625)... Missed meets against Utah, Southern Utah, BYU and Cal State Fullterton due to a knee injury, but returned to action in the Boise State tri-meet as the Aggies' top all-arounder, placing second with a 38.225... An academic all-WAC honoree.

2009 (SOPHOMORE) -- An NCAA North Central Regional all-around qualifier, finishing 21st with a 36.725... Was tied for 32nd on beam (9.525), 37th on bars (9.250), 41st on floor (8.625) and tied for 41st on vault (9.325)... Finished ninth in the all-around at the WAC Championships (37.450), posting a 9.675 on vault (T-26th), 9.600 on bars (T-27th), 9.125 on floor (34th) and a 9.050 on beam (35th)... Was the Aggies' top all-arounder in the dual with Central Michigan, finishing third with a 38.600, notching a personal-best 9.725 on bars, good for tying for sixth, as well as placing fourth on vault (9.625)... Notched a career-best 9.750 on bars (T-5th) in the dual with Cal State Fullerton... Logged a career-best 38.700 in tying for first in the all-around of the dual with Pittsburgh, matching season-bests on floor and bars with a 9.725 on floor (3rd) and a 9.750 on bars (T-4th)... Won the all-around of the BYU dual with a 38.600 for second AA win, as well as posting a 9.750 on floor (T-3rd) and a 9.725 on vault (3rd)... Was third in the all-around of the home final dual with SUU, logging a 38.600 for the third time this season, also scored a 9.750 on floor, tying season-high... An academic all-WAC selection.

2008 (FRESHMAN) -- An NCAA North Central Regional qualifier on beam... Logged a then season-high 9.550 (5th) on floor in the Sacramento State dual... Competed in the all-around for the first time at the Denver quad meet and finished fifth with a 38.475... In the dual with Denver, competed in the all-around for just the second time, posting a 38.250 to place third... Registered season-highs in the all-around in the San Jose State dual with 38.625 (4th), as well as 9.800 (T-4th) on floor and 9.675 on bars (T-8th)... At the BYU dual, tallied season-highs 9.750 on both vault (9th) and beam (T-5th)... At the WAC Championships, notched a 9.725 on beam to tie for 13th, a 9.800 on floor to also tie for 13th and a 9.675 on vault to tie for 27th... Selected to the NCAA North Central Regional meet on beam, where finished 42nd with an 8.275... Received the USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award.

CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL -- Competed as a Level 10 gymnast for Randy Anderson at Scamps Gymnastics... Was a three-time national qualifier... Placed seventh in all-around at 2007 Regionals, including third in vault... Won the all-around as well as the vault and beam at the Wisconsin Level 10 State Championships... Helped Scamps to five Wisconsin state titles... Graduated from Zion Benton High School with a 3.7 grade-point average.
