Of its 45 academic all-WAC selections, Utah State had 18 student-athletes from women's indoor track honored and 15 from men's indoor track, along with five from both gymnastics and women's basketball, and two from men's basketball.
2012 (SOPHOMORE) -- Named second-team all-WAC on floor after notching a 9.625 (25th) on bars and a career-high 9.850 (T-6th) on floor at the WAC Championships... Opened the season at Utah, setting her career-high on bars with a 9.725 (9th), along with a 9.500 (9th) on floor... Competed solely on floor against Arizona State, collecting a 9.050 (T-12th)... Landed a 9.275 (23rd) on bars at the Arizona quad-meet... Earned academic all-WAC honors and was also a USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
2011 (FRESHMAN) -- Made collegiate debut in the Southern Utah dual, leading off USU's lineup on floor with a 9.400 (10th)... Did not compete in the BYU/Arizona tri-meet... Posted a new career-best with a 9.700 on floor (T-10th) at the San Jose State tri-meet with Wisconsin-Eau Claire... At the BYU quad meet with Southern Utah and Iowa State, recorded a 9.600 on floor (21st)... Recorded a 9.675 on floor (10th) at the Southern Utah dual... Tied for eighth on floor (9.550) at the Sacramento State dual... In the home dual vs. Boise State, scored a 9.550 on floor (11th)... Did not compete in the dual vs. Utah, the dual at Boise State nor the Cal State Fullerton dual with a minor injury... Returned to action at the Southern Utah tri-meet with Iowa, logging a 9.550 in a floor exhibition performance... Earned academic all-WAC accolades as well as USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recognition.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL -- Competed for Tytans Gymnastics coached by former USU legendary coach Ray Corn... Finished fourth in the all-around at the Gem State Invitational... Placed seventh in the all-around at the 2010 Vegas Cup... Was member and chairman of the Logan HS National Honor Society.
PERSONAL -- A pre-physical therapy major... Daughter of James and Andrea Nye... Father, James, is USU Parking and Transportation Services Director... Has two sisters and one brother... Enjoys doing anything outdoors... Came to USU because it is in her backyard and always dreamed of becoming an Aggie.
