2006 (SOPHOMORE)-- After finishing a strong season as a freshman, she posted the second highest vault score for the team in her only appearance of the 2006 season with a 9.775 at CS-Fullerton, where she also competed in the beam and floor exercise events. 2005 (FRESHMAN)-- Was a strong contender on the vault all season for the Aggies. She finished the season with a 9.7075 average, after scoring a 9.875 against Boise State and 9.850 against both Utah and again against Boise State. At the WGC Championships she led the Aggies on the vault with a 9.900 to tie for first. She became only the second freshman from Utah State to win a WGC event. She also earned all-conference honors on floor with her fourth place finish with a career high 9.775 CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL-- Competed as a Level 10 gymnast for Todd Gardner at the Illinois Gymnastics Institute. Was also coached by Kurt Aichele, Sharon Barbato, Lenore Schwartz and Tammy Sciortino... A 2004 Junior Olympic national qualifier finishing eighth in the vault and beam and tenth in the floor... Won the 2004 Level 10 regional title on vault, the 2003 regional floor title and the 2002 regional beam title... Team won state championship in 2002 and finished second in 2003 and 2004... Graduated from Wheaton North High School with a 4.6 grade point average. PERSONAL-- Undeclared major... Daughter of Russell and Kim Fett... Has four younger brothers and two younger sisters... Enjoys rollerblading, sleeping, shopping, listening to music and reading. |
