CORN SAYS— We’ll continue to look to Kyla in her two most consistent events, vault and floor exercise. 2002 (SOPHOMORE)— A career-best 9.850 vault score against Boise State (Feb. 27) claimed her the event title... Set a new career high on floor (9.750) against Cal State Fullerton (Jan. 4), which she tied at Southern Utah (March 13)... Career-best 9.750 on bars came at San Jose State (Jan. 26)... Two top-three finishes... Vault average of 9.696. 2001 (FRESHMAN)— Won the first vault competition of her career against Southern Utah (March 12)... Averaged 9.570 on vault and 9.286 on floor. CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL— Level 10 national qualifier in 1998 and 1999 at Parkettes Gymnastics... Second on vault at the 2000 regional... Second in all-around and vault and fourth on bars at 1999 state championships... Member of 1997, 1999 state champion teams. PERSONAL— Exercise science major...
