2014 (SOPHOMORE)- Competed in the first five meets before suffering a season-ending injury... Averaged a 9.655 on bars... Had a season-high on bars of a 9.85 at Southern Utah (2nd) and at Air Force (1st)... Tied her career-high on floor of a 9.75 at home vs. BYU.
2013 (FRESHMAN) - Made a strong impression in her first collegiate season on vault and bars... Started the season with four event wins, placing first on bars against SUU and Hamline (9.825), at San José State and Brown (9.875) and Air Force (9.775), and claiming the vault title at Southern Utah (9.775)... Tied for second-place on vault in a quad-meet at Denver with a career-best 9.900... Set her career-best beam score at 9.725 (T-6th) at San José State and Brown... Saw continued success until suffering a season-ending injury on the vault in a dual meet at Sacramento State.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL - Competed at Magic Valley Gymnastics under Jennifer Clinton... Was state champion in all-around competition from 2009-12... Was a Junior Olympics National Qualifier in all-around five years in a row.
PERSONAL - Daughter of Robert and Toni Martinez... Youngest of 11 children... Was on the high honor roll all four years at Kimberly High School... Chose Utah State because of the balance of community, academics and gymnastics... Majoring in exercise science.
