Of its 45 academic all-WAC selections, Utah State had 18 student-athletes from women's indoor track honored and 15 from men's indoor track, along with five from both gymnastics and women's basketball, and two from men's basketball.
2012 (SOPHOMORE) -- Did not compete at the Utah dual, but made her sophomore debut at the Texas Woman's quad-meet with a 9.825 (5th) on vault, 9.700 (T-13th) on bars, 9.200 (17th) on beam and 9.800 (T-8th) on floor... Set a new career-high vault score at the Southern Utah tri-meet with a 9.875 (2nd)... Matched her career-high on floor against Arizona State with a 9.850 (2nd)... Set a single-event career-high for the third meet in a row with a 9.875 (T-1st) on bars against San Jose State... Competed in all-around in all but one meet of the year, with a career-best 39.200 coming against BYU... That meet also resulted in two event wins with 9.850 on both vault and bars... Won the all-around at Southern Utah with a 38.975 where she also took the vault and floor titles with a 9.825 and 9.850 respectively... Bested her beam high score at the Arizona quad-meet with a 9.775 (T-8th)... At the WAC Championships, notched a 9.550 on vault (23rd), 9.800 on bars (9th), 9.475 (24th) on beam and a 9.825 (T-9th) on floor for an all-around score of 38.650 (8th)... Competed at the NCAA North Central Regionals for the second year in a row where she landed a 9.200 (41st) on vault, 8.700 (42nd) on bars, 8.050 (42nd) on beam and 9.450 (38th) on floor for an all-around score of 35.400 (20th)... Was a USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient and earned academic all-WAC honors.
2011 (FRESHMAN) -- Made collegiate debut doing the all-around in the Southern Utah dual, posting a 37.150 (5th), logging 9.700 on vault (T-5th), 9.675 on bars (5th), 9.225 on floor (11th) and 8.550 on beam (12th)... Improved all-around score with a 37.675 in the Arizona/BYU tri-meet, logging a 9.750 on floor (2nd), 9.725 on vault (T-7th), 9.700 on bars (T-8th) and an 8.500 on beam (18th)... Continued improvement in the all-around at the San Jose State tri-meet with Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a season-best 38.450, while finishing second on vault with 9.725, tied for third on floor with a season-best 9.825, while also logging season-best 9.225 on beam (13th) and adding a 9.675 on bars (T-6th)... Won the vault with a career-best 9.825 at the Sacramento State dual, along with tying for third on both floor (9.750) and bars (9.525)... Posted a career-high with a 9.850 on floor (T-2nd) in the dual vs. Boise State, while also logging a 9.725 on bars (T-6th) and notching a 9.750 on vault (T-7th)... Posted a 9.725 on vault (T-15th) at the WAC Championships, as well as a 9.050 on floor (T-34th)... At the NCAA North Central Regionals, logged a 9.550 on vault (40th) and a 9.425 on floor (39th)... Earned academic all-WAC honors and was also a USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL -- Competed for Edge Gymnastics coached by John Laudie and Laura Habel... Two-time Level 10 regional qualifier... Won the vault and was third in the all-around at the 2010 Level 10 Missouri State Championships... Also finished second in the all-around at the Wine Country Classic in 2010... Finished fifth at the 2007 Level 9 Western Nationals... Earned Level 10 Hardest Worker Award for Edge Gymnastics... A four-year Honor Roll member at Smithville HS.
PERSONAL -- Majoring in English/creative writing... Daughter of Roger and Tonya Jones... Has one sister... Enjoys swimming, mountain biking and shopping... Came to Utah State because of the coaches, team, academic opportunities and beautiful campus.
