2006 (FRESHMAN)-- Was one of three freshmen to compete during the season. Participated in every meet but one, with a specialty in the balance beam. Season high mark in the beam came against Washington/Texas Woman's with a score of 9.775. She also posted a season high mark in the vault against BYU with a 9.600 and in the floor exercise against Sacramento State with a 9.675. Competed at the WAC Championships on the balance beam where she tied for 18th with a score of 9.650. CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL-- Price was a Level 10 gymnast at Aerial Gymnastics and was a four-time Junior Olympic Qualifier. She placed third at the 2005 Texas State meet on balance beam and fourth in the all-around. She followed up her strong showing at State with a seventh-place all-around finish at the Regional National Championships. At the 2005 Junior Olympic Championships she placed 49th in the all-around from a field of 50. She is one of four new freshmen. PERSONAL-- Daughter of Brian and Bronte Price...Price is an only child. |
