Two Former Olympians On Hand To Broadcast USU Gymnastics Friday

LOGAN, Utah - Shannon Miller and John Roethlisberger, two former Olympic gymnasts, will be on hand to broadcast Utah State's gymnastics meet on Friday. The pair will announce the meet against Boise State and Missouri for the Valley Station in Logan.
Missouri enters Friday's 7 p.m. meet ranked 10th in the country. Utah State is listed 32nd and Boise State 33rd in this week's rankings. After the meet, Miller and Roethlisberger will be available for autographs.
Miller won two silver and three bronze medals in the 1992 Olympic games and two gold medals in the 1996 games. Her golds came on the beam and in team all-around. In 1992 she claimed silver medals on the beam and in the all-around, while winning bronze medals on the floor and bars.
Roethlisberger competed in three different Olympic games in 1992, 1996 and 2000. His best individual finish was seventh in the artistic all-around. As a collegian at Minnesota he won five national titles. He was the NCAA all-around champion in 1991, 1992 and 1993, while also winning the parallel bars (1991) and pommel horse (1993).
