Utah State head gymnastics coach Nadalie Walsh has announced the 2015 competition schedule, consisting of 13 meets, five of which will be held in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

Starting this season, Utah State will compete in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference which was just recently sanctioned by the NCAA. The Aggies will have seven meets against MRGC teams, culminating in the MRGC Championships.

For the first time since 2011, Utah State will open the season at home. The 2015 schedule will begin on Friday, Jan. 9, when the Aggies host Air Force. MRGC action will then get rolling in a road meet at Denver on Friday, Jan. 16 and at BYU on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Utah State will return home for the next two weeks for two dual meets. The Jan. 30 meet will feature MRGC rival Boise State along with fellow Aggies UC Davis. The next week, USU will welcome Seattle Pacific and San José State on Feb. 6.

The Aggies will be back on the road at Boise State on Feb. 13 before hosting in-state and MRGC rival Southern Utah on Feb. 20. The teams will then switch places and travel to Cedar City to compete against SUU and Denver on Feb. 27.

It will be a quick turnaround for the Aggies as they head to Texas for a quad-meet at Texas Woman's with Maryland and Brown on Sunday, March 1. The team will continue its roadswing, competing at San José State on Friday, March 6.

USU will return to the Spectrum for its final home meet of the season, hosting in-state rival BYU on Friday, March 13. It will be another busy weekend as the Aggies immediately head to California to take on Sacramento State on Sunday, March 15.

The MRGC teams will conclude the regular season in the inaugural MRGC Championships on Saturday, March 21. The meet, featuring USU, Southern Utah, Boise State, BYU and Denver will be hosted by DU.

Based on it Regional Qualifying Score (RQS), Utah State or any individual student-athletes will compete in the NCAA North Central Regional Championships on Saturday, April 4. The locations for the Regional Championships will be announced at a later date. The 2015 NCAA National Championships will follow the various Regional Championships April 17-19, hosted by Texas Woman's University at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
