Utah State Recognizes 197 Student-Athletes At Annual Whitesides Luncheon

In all, approximately 51 percent of USU's student-athletes earned a 3.2 GPA to qualify for the awards.

2010 (SO):
Sat out the 2010 season... Named Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete... Part of the USU squad that earned its eighth-straight NSCAA Team Academic Award.

2009 (SAN DIEGO STATE):
Redshirted the 2009 season.

2008 (SAN DIEGO STATE):
Appeared in eight games her first collegiate season, almost exclusively in the backline ... Made her collegiate debut on the road at Loyola (Md.) on Sept. 7.

High School:
Won four varsity letters for coach Lee Mitchell at Alta High School ... Earned first-team all-state recognition following her junior and senior campaigns ... Garnered Utah's Division 5A most valuable player award in 2007 ... Was also named the Division 5A defender of the year in 2006 as the Hawks earned a No. 2 national ranking...
