Jessica Brooksby Cairns on Brooksby: "Jessica is a scoring threat. She is a risk taker with a phenomenal work rate; she never gives up on a play. She has also worked hard to become a dangerous free kick taker."
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Sky View High School for head coach Doyle Geddes... Named captain her senior season despite an injury forced her to miss the bulk of the season... Earned all-Valley first-team honors her junior season after scoring eight goals with 10 assists... Named Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a freshman with 10 goals and seven assists... Earned honorable mention all-state honors as a sophomore and a junior... Sky View advanced to the state quarterfinals both her sophomore and junior seasons... Also played basketball and golf at Sky View.
Club:: Was a 2009 region ODP holdover and played on fthe ODP state team from 2008-10... Earned all-tournament honors in the ODP finals in 2010... Guest played with Forza Futbol Club with future Aggies Karlee Campbell and Jayne Robison... Also played for La Roca Premier for coach Tim Crompton and was a 2011 State Cup winner as well as a U.S. Region IV Championship participant.
Personal: Born Oct. 31, 1994... Daughter of Eric and Sonya Brooksby... Third-youngest of six children... Wants to major in exercise science with a minor in psychology with the hopes of becoming a physical therapist.
