Utah State Soccer Adds Three More For 2013 Season

The Aggies add players from three different states.

McKayla Johnstone Cairns on Johnstone: "McKayla is a goalkeeper with great size and range to be able to cover the goal. She possesses solid technical abilities and great distribution skills."

High School:
Two-year varsity player at Jordan High School under head and former Aggie coach Sara Cowley... Earned first-team all-region honors in 2012 and honorable mention honors in 2011... Named the team's Most Improved Player in 2011 as well as Most Inspirational in 2010... Garnered Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2009... Named to the honor roll from 2009-2013.

Plays club soccer for LaRoca Premier for coach Pancho Ovalle... Under former LaRoca coach Tim Cropmton, the club was a US Youth Socccer National Tournament Finalist as well as US Youth Soccer Region IV U-18 Champions.

Born Dec. 14, 1994... Full name is McKayla Johnstone... Daughter of Nick and Rachel Johnston... Has one brother and one sister... Plans to major in English with a teaching emphasis and a minor in history with a goal of becoming a high school teacher and soccer coach.
