Selected to the all-WAC first-team... Started all 21 matches last season... Tallied five assists for five points...Tallied 12 shots with seven on goal... Assisted in two game-winning goals in Utah State's victories on Aug. 31 against Texas State and Sept. 16 against Idaho State... Tallied two assists in the Aggies' 10-1 win against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 3... Named to the academic all-WAC team for the second year in a row... Tied for first on the team in assists with five... Earned second-team CoSIDA academic all-district eight honors and named a Joe. E and Elma Whitesides Scholar Athlete Award recipient.

2006 (FR):
Was named the 2006 WAC Freshman of the Year, as well as earning second-team all-WAC honors... The only freshman to play and start in all 20 matches... Tallied 16 shots, including nine on goal... Was fourth on the team with five points, netting one goal and adding three assists... Scored a goal in the Aggies' 3-1 win at Idaho on Oct. 29... Added an assist in USU's 2-1 loss vs. Cal State Northridge on Sept. 10 and another assist in Utah State's 3-1 loss against Utah Valley State on Oct. 6... Notched third assist on the season in the Aggies' 2-0 win against Nevada on Oct. 20... Earned academic all-WAC honors, as well as a recipient of the Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award... Helped USU receive the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the fourth-straight season.

High School:
A four-year letterwinner and was team captain for Brighton High School, leading the Bengals to the 5A state championship... Her high school coach was Amber Johnson... Earned first-team all-state honors from both the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret Morning News her senior year... The Avalanche club team earned a second-place Far West Regional finish... Was club teammates with fellow Aggies Sydne Porter, Erin Salmon and Jessica Williams... A five-year member of the Olympic Develop.m.ent Team.

Full name is Lindsey Ann Smart... Born January 23, 1988... Daughter of Eric and Patti Smart... One of four children... Her sister Dayna is a gymnast at BYU... An exercise science major.
